Ottawa’s Jail: The Cost of Human Warehousing

MOMS Ottawa (Mothers Offering Mutual Support) in collaboration with CPEP (Criminalization Punishment and Education Project) present a Public Forum on Ottawa’s Jail: The Cost of Human Warehousing

To allow the community to have a say in the new government-led Task Force aimed at the long-running problems with crowding and deplorable conditions at the Ottawa Carleton Detention Centre, we are holding our next public forum on OCDC at City Hall on May 12 from 6 to 8 pm.

Speakers will consider the social and economic costs of human warehousing, as well as solutions that better serve the whole community.
