NAFTA at 20: Impacts and Resistance in Mexico

Join us for an important discussion with Mexican activist and academic Octavio Rosas Landa about the impacts of 20 years of the North American Free Trade Agreement in Mexico and the resistance movements that have emerged in its wake. Octavio plays an important organizing role with the Asamblea Nacional de Afectados Ambientales (Assembly of Environmentally Affected Peoples) and the Mexican chapter of the Tribunal Permanente de los Pueblos: México (Permanent Peoples Tribunal).

The event is co-organized by the Polaris Institute - Institut Polaris and Octopus Bookstore.
