Join Mira Sucharov, Fraser Reilly-King, and Christine McAllister for a panel discussion moderated by Joel Westheimer to mark the launch of Sucharov's Public Influence: Op-Ed Writing and Social Media Engagement.

Timely topics will include strategies for pubic engagement, influencing government policy, and engaging with and shaping public policy conversations.

Mira Sucharov is Associate Professor of Political Science at Carleton University, a frequent op-ed writer, and an expert on the dynamics of social media. She will discuss strategies for public engagement from her new book, Public Influence: A Guide to Op-Ed Writing and Social Media Engagement.

Fraser Reilly-King will share how he worked to influence government policy from his perspective as the former Policy and Research Manager with the Canadian Council for International Co-operation.

Christine McAllister will discuss her experiences in engaging with and shaping public policy conversations in her recent electoral bid for municipal office.
