Everyone at Carleton Cinema Politica would like to wish you a very happy New Year. We would also like to thank everyone that made the fall season a success and extend an invitation to those that weren't able to catch our films last semester. We'll be breaking with our past format slightly by showing films every second Monday instead of Wednesday. We've also just acquired a huge popcorn machine so you can look forward to that and more treats at our screenings this semester. Our Winter 2010 Schedule will be released sometime in the first half of January. | ||

Tuesday, February 2 7:00 pm 9:00 pm Bronson Centre, 211 Bronson Street An evening with Angela Davis The Student Federation of the University of Ottawa (SFUO) is hosting Angela Davis to kick off Black History Month activities on campus. The former professor at the University of California and political activist will be addressing the crowd on issues relating to identity and there will be a Question and Answer period. Tickets are 10$ in advance, 20$ at the door for students and 25$ for community members. Tickets are available at the SFUO office located at 85 University Street, Room 07 at the University of Ottawa.
